چکیده

2014 We study how the behaviour of an electron in d.c. electric or magnetic fields changes when this electron is simultaneously interacting with a high frequency electromagnetic wave. The new dynamical properties of the electron are described by an effective hamiltonian that we derive using a quantum description of the electromagnetic field and including relativistic corrections up to order 1/c2. Besides a well-known mass-shift correction, one finds that the new dynamical properties of the electron can be described in terms of electric and magnetic form factors which have a simple physical interpretation. Finally, these general results are applied to 2 simple cases : perturbation of atomic Rydberg states and modification of the cyclotron and spin precession frequencies of an electron in a static homogeneous magnetic field. The Effect of Different Dopants (Cr, Mn, ‎Fe, Co, Cu and Ni) on Photocatalytic ‎Properties of ZnO Nanostructures

ZnO structures with different dopants (1mol% Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu and Ni) have been synthesized via a simple hydrothermal method using sucrose as a template. These doped ZnO nanostructures characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and photoluminescence (PL). The photocatalytic property of these synthesized materials was studied by a pho...

Hall magnetohydrodynamics of partially ionized plasmas

The Hall effect arises in a plasma when electrons are able to drift with the magnetic field but ions cannot. In a fully-ionized plasma this occurs for frequencies between the ion and electron cyclotron frequencies because of the larger ion inertia. Typically this frequency range lies well above the frequencies of interest (such as the dynamical frequency of the system under consideration) and c...

Potent radioprotective effect of therapeutic doses of ranitidine and famotidine against gamma-rays induced micronuclei in vivo

Background: Previous investigations have revealed, cimetidine, a histamine H2-receptor antagonist, show radioprotective effects against gamma- and neutron-induced micronuclei in bone marrow erythrocytes. In this study, the anticlastogenic effects of famotidine and ranitidine, which act similar to cimetidine as histamine H2-receptor antagonists, was investigated. Materials and Methods : Balb/c m...

The Effect of Electrical Fields from High-Voltage Transmission Line on Cognitive Changes in Male Rhesus Macaque Monkeys: A Biological and Anatomical Study Using MRI Case Report Study

Living near high-voltage power lines and exposure to high-frequency electromagnetic fields (EMFs) is a potential serious hazard to animal and human health. The present study was carried out to evaluate the effect of high-frequency EMFs from simulated high-voltage electric towers on cognitive, anatomical, and biological changes in male Macaque. In this study, two Rhesus Macaque were recruited, ...

Study of the Effect of Palladium (Pd) and Hydroxy Optidium (Hap) on the Structural and Photocatalytic Properties of Bismuth Tungstate Nanoparticles (Bi2WO6)

In this investigation, bismuth tungstate (Bi2WO6) nanoparticles were synthesized by the hydrothermal method, and its surface modification was performed to increase photocatalytic property by palladium (Pd) and hydroxyapatite (Hap). The Pd / Bi2WO6 / Hap sample consists of two active components in visible light (Pd, Bi2WO6) and a hydroxyapatite adsorbent (Hap). The Pd / Bi₂WO6 / Hap sample activ...
